  • We manage tourism in the tourist region of North Moravia and Silesia, we deal with destination management and we call ourselves the destination company of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
  • We are responsible for the brand developmnet of the tourist region of North Moravia and Silesia. We strive to ensure that our region is percieved as an attractive holiday, film and congress destination.
  • We cooperate with entities in the tourism industry. Within the 3K platform, we coordinate activities with the aim of developing tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region. B2B communication is supported by our corporate website Mstourism.cz and LindedIn profile.
  • We monitor target markets. We create an optimal marketing mix, wich we apply to individual target groups of visitors in order to increase the number of visitors to the region.
  • We inform visitors to the region, for example through our tourist portal severnimorava.travel and social networks – Facebook and Instagram.
  • We support the improvement of the quality of tourism services in the region. At the same time, we strive to introduce service rating and performance measurement of tourism in the region.
  • We organize educational events for our partners in the tourism industry, e.g. the annual tourism conference.
  • We create tourism products. On the anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak state, we realized 100 Stories of the First Republic, and since 2018 we have been managing the Technotrail, a trail through the industrial heritage of the region.
  • We are behind the marketing campaign “We have a world-class region” ( “Máme světový kraj” ), wich was created in response to the tourism crisis related to COVID-19. As a part of this campaign, the so-called #vyzvaMSK was reated, a social media appeal with video invitations from well-known personalities of the region.
  • We organize the Moravian-Silesian Region Tourism Awards, awards for entities in tourism.
  • Current Tourism Management Strategy of the Moravian-Silesian Region for the period 2021-2025.

Strategy and action plans

The activities of the destination company Moravian-Silesian Tourism are defined by the strategies and action plans of the Moravian-Silesian Region, as the founder of our company. The wording of these documents is drawn up in accordance with the national tourism concept prepared by the Czech Tourism Centre – CzechTourism.
